An Autobiography of an Ant: Life Inside an Ant Colony

An Autobiography of an Ant: Life Inside an Ant Colony

An autobiography of an ant in an ant colony. Describe your features, current job and the surroundings you live in.

I am a small ant, one of thousands in our bustling ant colony. My body is tiny, with a hard exoskeleton and strong jaws perfect for carrying food. I have six legs, which help me move quickly, and two sensitive antennae that guide me through our intricate tunnels.

My job is to be a worker ant. Every day, I leave the safety of our underground home to gather food. I carry crumbs, leaves, and tiny seeds back to the colony, where they are stored to feed the queen and the rest of us. Our colony is a maze of tunnels and chambers, always buzzing with activity. The air is warm and smells of earth and damp soil.

Life in the colony is busy, but it’s a close-knit community where everyone has a role. Together, we work tirelessly to keep our colony thriving.
