Write a composition of between 150 - 200 words based on the topic below.
Imagine that you were lost in the forest one night. Describe your experience.
One evening, I found myself lost in a dense forest after wandering too far from the campsite. The sun had set, and the once bright and welcoming forest had transformed into a shadowy maze. Tall trees surrounded me, their branches swaying eerily in the cold wind. Every sound, from the rustling leaves to distant animal calls, made my heart race.
With only a small flashlight in my hand, I tried to retrace my steps, but everything looked the same in the dark. My phone had no signal, and the thick canopy of trees blocked out the moonlight, making it difficult to see beyond a few feet. Panic began to creep in as I stumbled over roots and fallen branches.
Despite my fear, I remembered what I had learned about staying calm in the wilderness. I decided to stop walking aimlessly and look for shelter for the night. I found a large tree and sat beneath it, hoping morning would come quickly. I listened to the sounds of the forest and tried to stay alert, even though exhaustion weighed on me.
Hours passed, and eventually, the first light of dawn peeked through the trees. The forest, once intimidating, now looked peaceful. I felt relieved, knowing that I would soon find my way back.
